Thoughts on Dice LA Camo?

So those of you who’ve unlocked the Dice LA Camo what your thoughts on it and do you use it?

I think against thermal when your moving the Camo doesn’t help because your gun glows but when your still or prone it’s an obvious advantage.

I use it all the time. Yeah your gun still glows so it’s not as if you’re completely hidden however if you’re moving behind cover or hiding from a tank in rubble, it definitely helps conceal you. You’re less likely to be spotted immediately by flir using infantry which is usually just enough time to get a shot off first. If you like to use gadgets such as the ucav, suav, eod bot etc, it again makes you much harder to spot especially from an aerial viewpoint. I also use it since the other camo suits are pretty useless as you can’t really see the pattern unless you’re point blank so may as well use the one with at least a small tactical benefit. As far as unlocking it, it’s definitely a pain in the butt, more so than the original way to unlock the phantom bow but i’d say it’s an okay trade off, but it depends on your playstyle.

It’s a challenge you have to do on the map dragon valley. Pretty easy to do though so we should definitely do it. Just have to coordinate a time

Yeah it’s definitely saved me numerous times from tanks / lavs while ucaving. I think when we run with c4 to blow tanks up we’re harder to see as well.

I usually run around with my G18, so the fact that the weapon is glowing doesn't hurt me that much. My loadout on engineer (that I pretty much always play on CQL, is DMR, G18. Running around with a huge ass DMR is bad in my opinion, and it is way easier to see using FLIR. So I run around with G18, and if I need to swap to the DMR, or rocket launcher, there is usually time for that, considering the target will be at decent range.

Really hope the next game doesn't have special camo or FLIR shit that is overpowered. It's just boring to use and get killed by.

I always have dice camo on, cba to change the camo all the time. So in metro or locker I am very easy to spot due to the camo being bright white. Rarely play cancerous explosive spam maps anyway.

I do the exact same thing, running around with my g18 sometimes switching to my mk11.
