Thinking about making a gun.

All I see is bla bla bla toys for big boys. O.K. next lets everyone bring out the dually diesel trucks and we can tear up some hilly land. All BS aside there are some fine weapons there and I am jealous. I want one of each and I want them now, lol...........STRYKER.

80% lower what?

80% of the lower frame of the gun is built. You have to build the other 20% and put all the bells and shit on it yourself. So it involves sanding sometimes, grinding, and Drilling so its like your average Saterday night with RED_DAWN!

PeePee, I've owned many Glocks over the years. I think you're better off just buying an off the shelf Glock and modifying it, unless you're want to make a "ghost" gun without serial numbers. I think an 80% lower is good for a long gun though. If you do decide to go 80% find a good machine shop to help you out.

My PeePee hurts now...............

whats wrong with the original Glock 43? seems like adding in for the cost of all the tools the cost will be much higher.
I have a Beretta APX Carry and it is smaller, more concealable and costs a heckava lot less. Plus my Beretta carries 9 rounds.

I have a Glock 23 40 cal I carried when I was a Detective and bought it when I retired

My favorite is a 50 year old Colt .45 auto model 1911 which looks brand new

In my personnel opinion a Glock is a very good pistol stock. I would never "Mod " my Glock with the exception of sights. If you ever get into a legal quandary concerning a firearm the stocker the better. I have at least 6 Glocks. my personal favorite is the G19 9mm which holds 15 + 1 , my second favorite is the G41 45acp 13 +1. Glock just introduced a .22lr pistol with a 10 rd mag , this would be a fun suppressed plinker. IMHO
