Random shooting at low probability targets (jets, helicopters more than 100 or so yards away, infantry hundreds of yards away, etc...) does nothing but increase the chances of your tank getting targeted since each shot puts you on the minimap for your opponent for x seconds again.

Oh yeah, this is a chronic problem. Most of our good tankers/gunners know better. It's always that one guy who will shoot at literally everything that moves, even if it's across the map in the enemy spawn, and never stop. I'm sure the companies who manufacture the .50cal for those guns would love that guy.

A guy Named JunglePred was running gunner in my tank last game. It reminded me how nice it was to have a good gunner in the tank with you. Cheers, JunglePred.

That's an understatement.

Ah, yes. The 'ol "rata-tat-tat syndrome". Firing at even the grass as soon as they get in. Always dread it when you die and they then respawn with you.

Dont let me in your tank. I shoot at those random birds that are on the ground everywhere that fly up when you approach them.
