If you’re 50+ get your shingles vaccine.

If you get the shingles vaccine, don’t expect to do anything for at least 24 hours.

And don’t be the guy that thinks he can push through it at work. Take the day off.

Respectfully, the old guy that is at work feeling like shit post vax.

That’s good reminder. My grandpa died of liver issues due to damage from one of the heps.

Im going to have to look, but I believe I have hep vax covered.

Same. And then I got the CVD and it was bad too. Hopefully the vax made it less bad.

The misses got shingles. It came on so hard and fast on the left back, side and front we thought she was having a heart attack. She could barely function. The emergency room reacted as if it was a heart attack from the symptoms. Until they lifter her shirt and saw the redness. She still gets burning/stabbing type pain occasionally. Another friend got it on her eyelids. Stuff hurts like hell. I took the vaccine after I got shingles. When I had shingles it felt like someone stabbing me all over my back with hypodermic needles.

Glad you got the vaccine. Being down an out for a day sure beats the permeant scaring. It ain't no joke.

The 2nd round of that vaccine did me in for 3 days. Still got it when it had morphed to something more benign.
