So the last few months I’ve not played BF4 a whole lot due to hand issues of prolonged game play. So here is where I’ve spent all that time. Decided to build an Arcade in my “man cave”. Two reasons. First is a real disappointment of games produced that last 5 years, mostly EA. Although the new Star Citizen is amazing (Not EA). Second, this is far less painful for my carpel Tunnel. In short these four cabinets are able to play any 8-bit game from the 80s. They all have a short list of favorites installed to run many games. Each is configured to be able to play a game with different player devices or setup. Star Wars has the flight yoke, Tron has the spinner/wheel. Pacman has the vertical screen and Rampage has the horizontal screen. Wife and I love it and compete for high scores. In total it plays the 100 plus games I like the best, although have 2000 plus games installed and ready to play. Each cabinet runs on a Raspberry Pi 3 with a Linux OS. You take a basic image and fine tune it to your needs. Panels and art work was built/applied by yours truly. Many parts are custom, for example the Tron stick is a complete custom job. I could write for hours on the various details but trying to make it short and sweet. All this for about the price of one gaming PC. Hope you enjoy.

My all time favorites:
Starwars
Outrun
Paperboy
Punch out
Tron
Pole Position

Damn.

That is Fucking Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having flashbacks of going to the arcade as a kid.

Awesome! I was going to ask you about your project. I saw that you were in the same Facebook group as I am. I just went the simple ETA Prime mod. and don't have a lot of room for any more cabinets. But I've had these games on my pc since 1997, for the most part, so it is great to have them in a mini cab now!

Are those the new 1Up Arcade machines? Was wanting to get the Rampage one that had defender and Joust. Mostly for the young kids that visit here. The Rampage machine is about $299 from Walmart.

Fantastic Simpson. When I was young all we had was pinball and I got pretty good at playing it. I was banned from a lot of places that had machines because I would win games (most of the time) and play for free pretty much all of the time after the first game and leave a bunch on them for other people to play. But I did have a blast back in the day..............STRYKER.

I read this as STRYKER was hacking pin ball machines and creating a toxic environment for other gamers :glee::glee::highly_amused:

Hell Whitey you didn't think I became this toxic over night did you? I have had years and years of grooming. LMAO.........................STRYKER.

BTW I will be AFK the rest of the week. Heading back to the river to catch fish I hope.
