Hey guys, Thanks for such an awesome welcome into the clan. I'm a 33 yr old Photographer/Drummer/Guitarist/sound recorder who built my Gaming rig from the ground up. I've been playing in your server for a while now on and off and always have a good time. My ping is typically 30-40ms so that's one of the reasons I started coming into RC. But then I would always run into great "team work game play" on the mic with some really cool dudes so that kept me coming back. Then about a month or two ago I met 40oz and played some rounds with him and he told me he thought I would make a perfect fit into the group if i was interested.
So here I am and I feel at home already. Looking forward to many hours of team work and laughs along the way.

I've been playing FPS only on pc (no console scum) lol since I was about 14 and I'm 33 now. I started off with quake and then I got into Half-Life which really got me stuck on PC. Years later way after HL2 came out I started making maps with the SDK. I have a couple that are still on rotation on my old clans server for HLTDM I do believe.
Anyways I played bf2142 a shit ton (which I really loved that game despite others options on it lol) bf2,Bad Company, and bf3. Then when I bought 4, I couldn't get the dam drivers and the patches to work, I tried for a month to get the dam game to work when it first came out and just failed so I just gave up for the first 8 or 9 months the game was released.. I played a lot more music then but anyways to the point of that story..

In that down time...I took my pc to my jam buddys house to do some recording and left it there for about 3 weeks. One day while there I decided to try the new BF4 patch and updated drivers to try to get the game to work and BOOM it fired right on up. I was so happy but we had all the mics set up and weren't finished with our little demo so i left my pc there for about 3 weeks or so. Well while I was gone, each day, my buddy was playing on my dam account!!!:eek: He ruined my KD and accuracy stats! he came into golmud and basically ran straight for the HVM2 launcher and thats all he did. He racked up 288 kills with the fucking thing and had my KD at .24 or someshiit and my accuracy at 5%!! I was PISSED.. So anyways My Accuracy is more like 16% at least 90% of the time.. I know thats not the greatest but anyways I'm slowly getting my stats up to "MY STATS" and not someone who had never played a FPS on a PC's! lol

Anyways THANKS FOR THE WARM WELCOMES TOO EVERYONE WHO's BEEN SO KIND!!!

I always welcome a cold beer! Glad to have you!

so, as I understand it, your player stats are always going to be tracked based on your EA GUID for birth to death. However, I understand you can restart them and track them new from some point. Heph told me about this....

As I understand it, a lot of players are bad as noob, so after they get some skill they reset their account and build up a 5+ KDR and stats from that point. you will always have your accurate stats, but what shows up in Battlelog is the reset stats....

can anyone confirm or enhance this?

I thought once you reset your stats it gives you a clean slate wiping out all of your stats. I think it's like buying a new account - you start off with nothing.

I cannot verify this because I was reluctant to reset my stats after spending many hours in the game unlocking most of the weapons.
