Server was rebooted last night. The entire BF4 community has been under Ddos attacks the last 1-2 weeks. Our provider just moved us into a new machine so I am monitoring performance. We did not ask for the move.

There has to be some way of protecting the server from this. I found several places that offer that protection. I don't know enough about it but am willing to help pay for it. Within reason of course. This site has it for $59.99 per month. That's on par with the donations I will average. But if that offsets the general operating costs perhaps there is another alternative.
As I said I don't know enough about it so all I can do is throw money at it. I wish I could pay to have the people that are attacking us to be killed. Their server, not actual people. LOL

Most major hosts have some level of Denial of Service protection, but unless you're a company like CloudFlare, Google, or Amazon, there's only so much you can do against a brute-force/flood approach.
We have a small level of protection but it’s rampant. This week Ddos, next week Seeder que, next week game cheaters... never ending lines of people who can’t just play honestly and have fun. I don’t get it
I don't get it either. For crying out loud it's just a game. Some people just don't get. Jealousy is a character flaw that children suffer from due to poor parental guidance. Those children seem to never grow up. Fortunately we are grown men that have become responsible adults. Keep fighting the good fight AARP.

The only reason I game in the AARP server is because it is a fair and honest place to game. I know some people can't handle that but it seems to me that it has always been this way. I do hope you guys can find a way to get this fixed. If it's money you need I will be happy to help our. K
Well long story but I suspect the last two days is not Ddos after last night. They slid us into a new machine Sunday unrequested. Might be machine related. One nasty help ticket later and today we are different machine.
Something is going on in the community just havent figured it out yet. Its either an attack or network issue in NFO our provider.
