I'm not exactly sure how to describe this, but it might just be a server settings thing. Either way, the problem is that the server eats my ammo. If I ever try to 'overload' my magazine (something I do with stuff like the AH, SH, and LAV where I shoot a single shot then reload to gain an extra mag, basically) it will immediately zero-out my ammo and I lose a reload cycle, and a bunch of potential ammo. This functions normally on the Golmund server, and most other servers I play on.
