Requesting help with DirectX Error on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

Hi all, I am receiving the above error message ever since downloading the a driver on my card to be able to play the 2042 beta. Any ideas what the deal is and how to fix it? It's booting me from games or preventing me from joining quite often.

I know nothing about computers, drivers or their parts.... I've got an Alienware Aurora build that I got on sale at best buy... I just like to blow crap up

I used to get that with my RX 5700 XT with BF4. Can't remember exactly what I did, but I edited the register because the timer on the card not responding was too short or something. After doing that never had the issue again.

But most likely it's just a bad driver, I recommend rolling it back.

Usually a problem due to drivers. Do clean install of latest released drivers. Nvidia driver installs have a clean install or express install (installing new drivers but keeping current cnfig.) Some even use a driver wiper that removes all traces of a previous install.
