Don't think it needs to go that far, it's helpful to a degree. Just the small no of idiots who abuse the facility.

Though better idea would be forum activity allows in game chat.

I would agree. Best not to punish the majority of non-members who use chat as it was intended... even if so many are annoying as fuck.
