So you've been banned. That's a terrible thing, right? Well, this guide here is to ensure your soon-to-be appeal gets processed as quickly, and cleanly as possible.
Before you continue reading:
GETTING STARTED
The first, and most important thing you, the banned player needs to do, is to ensure you're in the right section (which is here). Though, if you're reading this, then you've (probably) already arrived in the right area!
From here, you want to fill out our pre-made Appeal Form, found HERE (<-- Seriously, click this link!)
Please do not attempt to co-opt someone else's Ban Appeal thread for your own purposes. Make your own!
THE APPEAL
While the process has changed, it is not that much different than before. Your goal should be to have the ban lifted, not made more permanent.
Here's a few tips to avoid that:
You are free to further respond in the appeal thread and discuss matters with the Staff, and ultimately reach a conclusion.

There are some things that we will not unban, or whitelist for:
WHAT'S LEFT?
The process won't be instantaneous. Depending on the reason for the ban, it may require input from other players, or admins, and they have their own lives to live. So don't be too impatient. One way or another, we'll resolve the situation. As always, there's always no guarantee your ban will be lifted, for any number of reasons. However, we will tell you why in the end.

Make sure you check BattleLog for ban reasons, by attempting to join the server through BattleLog! This does make it much easier to figure out what is going on... most of the time. The in-game browser offers zero information when it comes to kicks, or bans. It's really just a huge nuisance most of the time.
If you were 'banned' for using a VPN, it is not an actual ban. Please disable your VPN and attempt to rejoin. If you are positive you're not using a VPN, and are still getting kicked, then you need to go discuss that with BF4DB. That's out of our hands.

- Don't insult the admins or players
- Don't talk shit about another user
- Don't be a dick
- Exercise common sense
