thought it would be nice to have a racing/Car thread.

I race NMCA/NHRA divisional racing.

2018 camaro with a 350LSX with a Whipple 2.9L

this past week I had a race in Norwalk, Ohio. The supercharger intercooler cracked and water leaked into the cylinders.

motor is all good, thankfully FB_IMG_1566911686920.jpgMVIMG_20190217_162116.jpgMVIMG_20190217_162116.jpgIMG_20181117_174041.jpgreceived_293431374669712.jpg

Got money falling out of your pockets tater man. Did you use a shoe horn to get that engine in that small compartment??

Thanks for sharing Iceman, I love racing, just been out of it for awhile.

This is my car I raced in Norwalk OH in 2008. Was the fastest Auto AWD at the time, 9.4 @143mph best. Dragged this thing up to Ohio in my 1999 F-250 7.3 with a second car in a two car trailer from Florida... 30 hour drive.. I blew the motor and transmission on the Talon this trip... was my last one with the car.

Boys and their toys got to love it. Some fine looking equipment there guys, and very costly. They have come a long way since I had my Kawasaki Drag Bike. We put on a wheelie bar, slick, and made a couple of small engine mods and got it running in the high 10s and low 11s. Not fast by your standards but a fun machine to ride.................STRYKER.

Im so jealous of your American Racing scene, Poland is dry as fuck when it comes to cars. We have very little drag strips and tracks, and even less modded cars.

Its extremely strict here, so no one messes with it. Engine mods are fine, mostly, but theyre fine until some grumpy policeman decides to check all of your shit and deem half of it illegal lol. I remember reading a couple years back that widebody kits, aftermarket spoilers, splitters ect are illegal and wont pass road safety tests.

I mean, you can still slap a turbo on your car, or just get a bigger one, you can play around with the engine, just not with the exterior, (or loud exhausts)
