YouTube music started to include podcasts so I figured I'd see if y'all have any recommendations.

Subjects I'm interested in are history, space, cars, comedy and international politics.

I've been driving a lot lately and need more content.

Startalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson seems good

I found another called You Made it Weird that stuck out because it had Rainn Wilson (Dwight from the office) who apparently has a new book and series on Peacock.

Anyways, I'm just going between Iowa and Michigan as much as I can until I'm released, today I'm in Wisconsin though as a side quest to turn in twenty years of accumulated gear ?

The MN/WI border is really nice, I forgot the Mississippi went thru there, it's been a long time since I've driven that route.

Yeah I listen to a lot of podcasts and StarTalk is occasionally one of them.

Darknet diaries is really good. All about hackers doing interviews. He hasnt been updating as much as he used to but there are still plenty to listen to.

Huberman Lab is really good. A neuroscientist who grew up in the skateboarding community so it appeals to me.

Wrongful Conviction, basically the innocence project, talks about all the criminal cases that were overturned on appeal due to bad evidence or faulty testimony.

Jocko Podcast - former navy seal and does a lot of interesting interviews. I also use it to go to sleep cause of the cadence of his voice :ROFLMAO:

Oh yeah I saw some stuff with him on YMH. He's really interesting, that sunlight stuff and the cold bath stuff is kind of weird, but he's the expert I guess.

I used to listen to Hello Internet, now I listen to WAN Show and Mission Log. But none of them really fall into those categories.
Hello Internet is quite amusing to listen to, but it's kind of nerdy.
WAN Show is current tech news talk, if you don't watch LTT then it won't matter.
Mission Log discusses every episode of Star Trek.

Ahhh I am a huge Star Trek fan. Minus the original series anyways. Probably seen every episode of TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT at least half a dozen times each.

You will like Mission Log then. They even have some very amusing things to say about TOS (though I did enjoy TOS). DS9 is probably the best TV series ever made. TNG is very good and I enjoyed ENT. I hate VOY.

Super smart guy for sure. Makes me want to go back to school for the sciences and do something useful with my life :ROFLMAO:

I think I should have been an engineer. Oh well. Maybe I'll study some stuff independently.

Wrenching on helicopters was fun, and I found machine tool classes pretty simple in highschool.
