Albemarle Sound is a beautiful place, I've passed through lots of times on southbound sailboats. Never been up to Elizabeth City, but from the ICW through Coinjock and on down. I'll be back up that way on a boat again in June but will only get as far north as Cape Lookout/Beaufort.

Driven through that area. Sailing it sounds very cool. I usually stay at the central and southern beaches. Will be on Emerald Island mid June.

Nice man, so as far as low country goes, I did live in Sumter SC for 4 years (Shaw AFB) and actually loved it. Only went to Charleston twice but had a good time
