So I was going to finally pre-order BFV this morning.

Origin is running a new premium library/vault service called Origin Access Premier.
This would allow you access to all new premium games released including all the older library games as well.

It's $129.99 (not sure if USD or CDN) for a year. This seems like a really good deal. I could play BFV, Fifa19, Madden etc all for only $129.99

Consider BFV alone is $99.99 for pre-order. If i buy 2 new games this year it will easily be more than the $129.99. Seems like good value to me.

But unfortunately EA, being EA says "Origin Access Premier" will be available later this summer. Well WTF.
I'd like to purchase BFV now to get into the Alpha and Beta testing etc.

-I'm not sure the access premier purchase well be the equivalvent of a Pre-order of BFV etc.

Whats everyones thoughts on this Premium Access (annual cost) vs individual old school game purchases.

With the with garbage EA has been putting out recently, I wouldn't do it. They completely fucked BF 1 and BF V I am not so sure. No server control, no admin control, no Punkbuster which means you cant stream to PBbans.

I will not get hat deal is whacked up... I will wait minimum of 3 to 6 months b4 I shell out money for the game.

I'm not. They just don't release anything interesting enough to warrant the monthly price. Sure, it's kind of nice as an idea, but they don't have enough releases imo.

So basically EA shut down Gamespy which hosted our player profiles. It looks like you can still play the game online but you'll need to start over from scratch unless you had your player profile transferred to the private hosting. As much as I would like to play a few games on Karkand and Wake Island I definitely dont have the time to rank up from scratch. I loved playing as a medic with the G36C. I still have the original installer CDs for that and Special Forces. Not even DVDs lol.
