Hello Staff members. 2 days ago I downloaded BF4 because my friend told me he got it so i wanted to play with him. I used to play your goldmud server a bunch and wanted to invite him to join it. So once i connected, after a second in the respawn menu i got kicked. I thought it was because my ping was to high or something. But it said I was banned. Ok so i joined again to see if it was a error. Then it said "kicked by punkbuster" that's weird because i never cheated or downloaded any type of program to do such things. I try to join other servers and i keep getting kicked by PB so i msg them and they tell me to reinstall I do so and i'm able to play on some servers but for your servers i'm still banned. I think it was my firewall or my antivirus not letting punkbuster do it's thing. I did have a vpn when i joined, i don't think it's that because months ago when i play'd i had the vpn on in the background unknownly so i don't think its that. Also i checked my status with PB,bf4DB and easy and none of them flagged me as a cheater. so i don't know what happend. Can you guys help me, i would really love to join the goldmud server again and play with my german friend :) thanks
 
Check task manager(ctrl-alt-del) for PnkBstrA.exe and PnkbstrB.exe, if not running just reinstall it from this location
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\punkbuster\redist
Sometimes it asks you if you want to change Firewall rules to run those 2 exe files but you dont see it as you are in the game load.
Google PunkBuster install if any other problems

I won't use VPNs anymore. Yeah sorry about that sometimes i load up BF4 without knowing that my VPN is running in the background. I'll make sure to always turn it off before i launch BF

EDIT: yeah Banshie I think i fixed the punkbuster problem i uninstalled it from my pc then installed PB from their website and hooked it to BF4 it seems to be working now but i also now know that my VPN was getting me kicked from certain servers like this one. anyways good to know now what was causing this issue. Thanks for you help. Oh will I be unbanned from these network servers?
