I hear some complaints about the AH being OOB and would like clarification. When flying and looking at the minimap, we can see OOB, but it is different than if you are on foot. So when there are complaints, we dont see that we are OOB on the minimap.

The circled area is Vipers playground. He ascends..fires into the field of play, then descends, most of the time hes out of bounds and behind the hills. Its just a cheap way to play. Jams381 or whatever his name is, likes to hover and seat swap right above his base and fire out Tv's
This helps, but I dont think young and I were doing that. When you come out the the base, you usually go north to come over the hill to plan the attack. Then go back to repair/recharge as needed. Same with the LB. The AH gives no indication that we are in the black area on your map. I never noticed Dodge being OOB either, but I will watch next time. That is really too far to be effective with the TV. There are a few other places that are much better to single seat from.

Yes they do, thats why they are back there..lol
I am still not sure they do. I never knew and I fly quite often. I just look at it as being behind the hill and safe from the plethora of iglas/stingers/soflams/AA. Didnt know there was a line not far behind the hill that was OOB.

Anyway, I will mention it to anyone I fly with. Your exploding dildos are impressive enough -- no one wants to be kicked as well.

I dont kick for it, unless its continuously right over the base

This exactly. You're too far away to TV anything.

I have to disagree. TV has 700m range, so from any point on that red circle (that isnt uncap/spawn) you can pretty much reach the middle of the map.

Seatswitching in an attack heli is a disgrace though.
Yes if you dont have the forward points but if you have the forward points youre not going to hit the targets you need.

I rarely get a kill with the Stinger. All it does is scare away the AH for a while or go south with it.

I'll paraphrase this, if you don't mind.

"If you're in a winning position and pushed the enemy vehicles back out of the AH's range, you'll have to get closer to hit anything."

Agreed.
Truth.

There are a few bad AH pilots who sit way back regardless of their team position. I wont get in their AH anymore.

Agreed.
Only 2 that I can think of that are fun to play with anymore are Beckler and xurec.
Though Beckler focuses way too much on F, at least you get to see some action.
I hate flying with Beckler. He tries to be too damn clever. Cant count how many times he flies into the building at F and we get an MBT up our ass. I feel like asking him if he enjoys it, but I like him too much.

IMHO the best AH pilot is Dodge. He works great with the gunner and knows when to be aggressive. There are a few others that are really good as well. It is a lot of fun when you get a good pilot.

xurec is the best, Beckler comes second. Beckler does love to go inside of F, but I find it fun because I often get a bunch of kills. The thing Beckler and xurec have in common is that they aren't afraid to get into a fight and die. I find that fun. Dodge USED to be like that. But now he sits way too far back, and way too high for me to have ANY fun gunning for him. Because of that, it's extremely unfun to play against him. I don't have this issue with Beckler or xurec, and I enjoy playing with or against them.
