After I had played a game yesterday I was looking around on my computer to deleted some old file and photos. i happened to notice the OneDrive icon on my taskbar had a check on it. I open the OneDrive and saw that it had download a lot of photos of BF1 images. That happened about 49 minutes ago while I was playing. I have never plaed BF1 so thought that strange.

Went into 'Pictures' area and found a new folder marked 'Raccoon'. Upon investigation I see this is some form of Malware. Deleted that folder.

Anyone else see 'Raccoon' in their 'Pictures' area? I've got SuperAntiSpyware running so I dont see how this happened.

I don't know anything bout raccoon, but seems that ur onedrive sync on your computer and previously u got that malware

The app onedrive detected a USB added to the PC, and show a popup screen asking you for backup, maybe you clicked and started the sync, that's why is there, same happens with drive from google

Gunney, you're one step closer to getting things sorted. Good on you for keeping the ball rolling. I don't use OneDrive out of spite, and because I have no real need for it on my gaming PC.

Is the program Process Explorer still considered "good"? I used to use that a lot to validate my running processes when ransomware was getting popular. Used it a few times on friends computers to help diagnose a virus which was locking them out of everything including Task Manager. IIRC Malwarebytes was the goto for removal, but you still had to reformat and that was a long time ago. I still use it from time to time just to get a closer look at what programs my pc is running, but I don't keep up with that stuff like I used to.
