Delivering a Tofinou 12 to the boatyard for a client today. 70deg and no wind caused some light fog conditions. The schooner pictured is the Spirit of South Carolina. Took about 3 hours to get from the marina to the boatyard.
I'm an independent contractor working as a boat broker, so I help people buy and sell boats. I mostly focus on sailboats because that's my passion. I have a USCG Captain's license, so I can move boats for pay and have done that in the past. Also used to do daysail charters 10-12 years ago but that got old quickly. I mostly I just move boats to and from boatyards during some surveys/sea trials when needed. Today was me moving a boat for a client who lives in another state but keeps his boat here. He and I have become pals and so I help him with stuff like this for free whenever he needs it, and he generally sends me a thankyou gift like a nice bottle of rum.
