Ive had nothing but problems with the EA app..

First, when I first switched all my accounts to the EA app it made me change the passwords. Some accounts it made me change the password up to 3 times just to play

Second, I've had issues connecting to games. EA seemed to just not be working at one point, whenever I joined a server it would just not even launch the game. They pushed an update like a week later that finaly let me play games again. Very weird (ive also herd of some people's games just disapearing from their account)

Third, ORIGIN WAS BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had similar problems as Ryan's.

It's working better now but not great.

Here is a weird issue that most probably wont have to deal with:

If I have my seeder account running and then switch to my main account my game will have micro stutters. I have to reboot my system for it to go away.

EA APP is giving me all kind of "internet connection error messages", "try again soon" messages, etc. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app 3 or 4 times, reboot computer etc. I'll keep working on it. Lot's of other online posts about issues with the new app.

I was actually an early adopter due to another EA game refusing to run without it the same week the app came out.

I had surprisingly few problems with it until they forced the EA app on BF4 and dropped being able to launch straight from the web browser. Ever since then it's been a buggy mess, constantly forcing me to "update" my password and dropping online connection for no reason. One time I was mid game and it disconnected me due to "password incorrect", no joke.

I hope they take the time to fix it properly because this ain't it.

I'm not using the new EA app yet. I'm still using Origin.

I like to wait until all the guinea pigs have a positive report about the new EA app.

I've heard that some people were forced to change to the new app. Typical EA (government in disguise) thinking. If it works, lets break it and raise the price.

25 years ago I worked for Gateway Tech Support, it was so easy then... If we could not solve the customer's issue in under 15 minutes we were "urged" to do a "FFR"... fdisk, format, and restore.... "Call us back after the format is done"..... click

Up and Down with it like a Yo Yo. I'm running a disk just for gaming to rectify the problems, running smaller version of windows on it called Atlas.

No issues so far. Though it is very slow loading for BF4 and 2042.

IF I ever get married I think I will approach it in the same way :ROFLMAO:

I thought they forced everyone to update. I had to for 2042 and then I heard everyone who wants to run BF4 had to as well. At least in the US

I live south of Canada.

When EA was transitioning from Origin to the new EA App, they wanted everyone to use their new app, NOW !!

I only found out about this when I logged into my Origin desktop icon and there was a message on the top of the screen in a message bar telling me if I wanted to use the EA App, click yes or no. I clicked no. After that, I didn’t give it a second thought until I heard that people were having problems in this forum.

I don’t use my Battlelog or the EA app to launch any games just Origin.

I’m sure that in the near future EA will make it mandatory for everyone and Origin will be a distant wet dream or shooting blanks depending on your medical situation. ?

Weird Im south of Canada too and one day Origin wouldn't open and said I had to install the EA app. I also declined to use the EA app for months before I was forced to.

It wouldnt let me play without installing EA app, it uninstalled origin and installed the EA app without telling me.

I tried installing origin and it wouldnt even let me play games until i downloaded the new app

That is weird; "Canada".

I'm sure I'm not the only one who still use Origin but then again, EA has always been a lame duck.

On second thought, I'm still on the fence with the whole "The world is flat" theory.
