Monitor Desk Stand - Gaming

I use dual monitor setups at work and I used to at home. Now I just want one big screen. Those ~49" ultra wide monitors look amazing.

The thing about those is that you don't get those snap window to edge so it can be hard to manage your application windows. Also for using an ultra wide monitor for gaming, you have to set your FOV lower or you'll get a pincushion distortion effect. With that, you will still get better horizontal FOV, but your vertical FOV sucks. This is mostly because games have terrible support for ultra wide setups. Better off using multiple monitors for productivity, or just a very large 16:9 large monitor for gaming. That way you increase your FOV horizontal and vertical.
