Merging video files

Need some info on merging video MP4 files. I know I've done this before, but can not remember how I did it. Suspect I used a trial version. I've tried using DaVinci Resolve, but the software just exits without doing anything.

I use VEGAS Pro for my video editing, since I got it dirt cheap with a Humble Bundle.

I use Premier Pro but I'm switching to Vegas Pro at the end of my annual subscription. If you want a free and easy option for doing very basic things, Windows 10 comes with Windows Video Editor. You can put video files together in that. Also you can crop videos in Windows Movies & TV (which is the default video player in Windows 10).

I use the 'Open With ...Photos' to edit and crop my videos. I take a look at the Windows Video Editor next.

Almost positive there's web-based solutions for stuff like this. Google 'web Mp4 joiner' or something like that and there should be tons of options. the only downside, is if you are joining 'private' adult type videos, then they get put on some weird server and who knows what happens to them.
