In America, we remember the fallen on Memorial day. Those that made the ultimate sacrifice so that we continue to live free. For those of us that have lost a brother, a father, a son, a sister, or a mother to the alter of freedom, we remember them everyday. The memory of those heroes sustain us as we carry the mantle of freedom forward.

My eternal gratitude to all those who serve.

Well put carp. I say a little prayer daily for all those that have fallen to protect our way of life in the U.S.A. It still bothers me greatly how my brothers returning from Viet Nam were treated with such disrespect. These guys were sent over there to do a job which at the time our government thought was important. The war it's self was very unpopular but anger was directed at the wrong people. O.K. blood pressure is starting to rise so I better sign off. One last comment, G.I.Jane (Fonda) should have been arrested, tried, and hung for treason (I Will never forget or forgive you scum bag fucking bitch). But to all the troops past, present, and into the future God Bless and thank you...............STRYKER.

Stryker, I hear you on Vietnam. My father died over the Mekong Delta. I visit the wall annually. I was only 6 years old and don't remember him other than his sacrifice. I'm 57 and the tears are falling as I write this. I hope sometime in the future that war will never be waged...

Peace to all.

Sorry for your loss Carp. All I can say bro as I am tearing up myself...........STRYKER.

On this Day of Honoring our brave fallen Friends, Men, and Women of the Military in War/Combat!
Here are some of our past President's stated good Quotes or what this day means;

“Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.” – Theodore Roosevelt

another,
“The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it.
And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.” – John F. Kennedy

God bless and keep my brothers in arms on this day and forever! Amen
