A few days ago I noticed my computer screen not lighting up with I powered up computer. I could see that my G15 keyboard looked normal and the HD light flickering as the computer checked the hard drive. So I figured something was up with the graphics card.

I have a GTX 1070 card. It has DVI, HDMI and two Display Ports. Moving to the other Display port solved nothing. When I installed a HDMI cable got my screen back up. But playing BF4 with lower 60fps really sucked. I got used to the smoother 120fps - 80fps I normally see while playing. I could still play, but it was not as fun as before.

So I did some research on the bad display ports and saw one post about just unplugging the monitor for a few seconds and back on. Display ports should work then. I thought that was strange, but tried it anyway. Sure enough after powering down monitor and turning back on the display ports started working. WHat crazyness is this? Anyway, should be back to some good game play tonight!

YEah , that happen to me long ago but never happen again . Don't know why but try update driver ( newer one ) is way better now /

try DDU and nvslimmer ( turnoff internet before go to safemode for DDU and install nvidia with nvslimmer then when done and turn on internet , so you don't want update driver from windows .

also make sure the display port is 1.4 ...
