Making a huge pan of king ranch chicken casserole. I stuck my foot in it this time. Really has a great taste and good texture differences. So, what is anyone else cooking??

My wife is trying to make some prickly pear jelly. Doesn't sound particularly great to me but she's excited about it. Mainly since she gathered the ingredients locally.

Always a fan of cooking with locally grown or home grown foods

I wish I could grow my own peanuts and I know I dont have enuf land for strawberries or grapes either. I go to the store for my pbj stuff. Now, seafood is another story. Good shrimp are available here, oysters when in season, flounder, speckled trout, red fish are always good around here. Offshore is only 30 mins away, could eat snapper everyday if I had the time to fish
