I have a blast being a member here and playing the game we all love. We kid and trash each other all in fun. We are the fortunate ones. I have everything in life and then some. There are too many people out there that don't have the good fortune we have. In my latter years I have become all too aware of the suffering of those less fortunate. With that said, I have made it a point not to look the other way. I humbly ask if you see a homeless person, don't pass them by. Offer them a meal. If you witness a senior needing help. Assist them. If you know anyone needing help lend it. If each of us would help one person in need the world would be a much better place.

What ever the donation total is for the year here at AARP I will make a matching donation in AARP's name to the Coalition for the Homeless.

Please be kind.

Superb… Actually my wife and I make burritos every 2 months and pass them along to the homeless here in the high dessert. We donate cloths, shoes and blankets especially in Winter. We help our senior citizens that live within our block because one day we will be walking there shoes, treat them as we would like to be treated once we are in there age. Way to go Carp blessings to you.

It's people like you and your wife that reinforce my faith in humanity. It dosen't take much to make those less fortunate lives better. Blessings to you too brother! Good fortune to all.

Pay it forward.

Something is better then nothing Carp, the will to give just a little can make the difference in the community or when the family of 8 goes to an outing to eat. And I order and extra plate to give the elderly clinging for the help of anybody to help them eat. What we will not do is give money... We ask are you hungry! Wait here I get them something to eat, few dollars from our pocket that we invest is nothing to these people in need. I never saw anything like this when I was a kid in the States. Though where I would see is when my parents we all was going to Mexico my dad and mother would have a big box of shoes and other things. At that time I did not get it to the reason why. Until one early morning while us 3 siblings was sleeping in a 1970 station wagon. When I heard my dad and mom taking down that big box. You see these 5 year old and up with there clothing torn, face, feet, hands dirty and shoes with holes and some had torn tennis shoes geez some was even bare footed selling food or what ever there parents would send them to sell. And suddenly there faces with the biggest sincere smile. And I believe that is how it started to do something. Blessings to all!
