Keeping Our Server Clean

AARP strictly forbids cheating in our server, To date, PBBANS has kicked out 1,738 previously convicted cheaters out of our server. (no doubt this number would have been a lot higher had we not run in official mode for while)

Our server alone has caught 46 cheaters. Since I have been a streaming admin with PBBANS I have caught a total of 165 across 3 different games. Soldier of Fortune II, BF 3 and BF4.

While I believe all of our members are clean, I must warn you. If you are thinking about doing it, don't. Sooner or later we will catch you. Cross bans are now enabled on the server. This means if you have been caught cheating on any Punkbuster enabled server, no matter what the game, you will not be allowed in our server. You will be kicked before you can even get a shot off.

Simpson, Myself and Red_Dawn take pride in running a clean server for our members and the pubic to enjoy without the worry of cheating low life's. While we cant catch every single one (new hacks come out all the time) it is up to you to report suspected cheaters. Record their game play and post it up in the forums, or vote ban the bitches off the server.Most cheaters wont come back to the forums to appeal. The clean players will.

I personally do not understand cheating at anything. I like the feeling of the win like anyone else but I like the feeling of mastery better. Not to be confused with masturbation. HAHAHAHA
 
Personally it would be hard for me to notice a hack... There have been a few times where I just scratch my head and try and figure out what just happened but for the most part I just lick my wounds, spawn back in and try to pick up where I left off. As far as trying out hacks?? I think the closest I will get is when I feel like making a mess I start using the guided shells and called out as a noob! I blame SirRobertz.

Best to record your game play and play back the footage to see what exactly happened. There's usually quite a few things we miss in the heat of combat.
 
This is exactly why I play here. I know it must be exhausting to weed out the cheaters but somehow you guys maintain a clean server. So many other servers out there that run rampant with cheaters. To be honest, since I found your server I only play on one other server. 90% of the time I,m playing here.

I hear you and I do the same, sometime with a little cursing, and sorry guys if using guided missiles and hand held rockets is being a noob, you guys can just call me Mr. Noob. LOL
 
I just mark anyone I think might be cheating as 'suspicious' and watch their activity. Like using SABOT to one-shot a chopper from F is suspicious, but not exactly damning. I know I get accused a lot myself, with the IFV and the AA. No one likes someone good with either.
 
If you look at the chat people forget they are playing a game. If this was a simulation in it's current form, it probably wouldn't exist. Some shit does make you scratch your head but doesn't always equal to cheating. I believe cheating is really less common than really freaking good players.
