Hello AARP folks,
I've played on your sweet Golmud railway server forever, and I finally decided to register and say hello. So this post is me, saying hello.
I enjoy the comradery of the server and like when people are talkative. I mainly play as a form of stress relief. I don't play very seriously (don't care about stats) and will go out of my way to get a creative kill, annoy someone who's being a dick or avenge a knifing. I do enjoy winning and am pleased when my team holds D, and am confused when people don't head for D when the round begins. Why would anyone not want D? I mostly play on foot because I like sneaking around and am drawn to large, vehicle-free engagements. Sometimes I don't log in for long periods of time due to professional responsibilities (see pic below). I feel at my best when making long range RPG kills vs air traffic. Getting the shot timed just perfectly, guessing where the target will be vs RPG flight arc is something I've spent a good deal of time musing on since my Quake 2 days. Admittedly, these RPG calculations are somewhat degraded by rum/whiskey consumption, but whatever- its all good!
