This is somewhat interesting,;

If there are any ham radio operators out there check out the video..... , in my youth, I had to help build ham radio gear... my fathers main comment to me was "no matter how much your being electrocuted don't let go of the wires; you will short the finals.. I need to test first"

Dad was a crazy ham radio guy. One day he was like "we are going to build a dish" and here it is in the back yard... someone came over and video'd it,

Then I inherited it all; , tore it all down, 70 tons of scrap metal from the back yard...... Tried to give away the dish to SETI, but no way to move it...

I've been dabbling in ham radio for about a year. Haven't taken the exam for my license but that will be very soon. I've used the NY State Guard's radio and call sign o Drill weekends and I like it. So getting my License and a radio is my next step.
