Thank you all for the warm welcome, its nice to be on your guys good side lol, I am interested in seeing who is who, most of the time if i dont see an AARP guy in the squad i just go solo so my gunner isnt being a window licker with a megaphone giving away position, always fun playing.

The 50 cal on the tank is shit when facing air. Its rare I get a kill. Usually its when Im cleaning up someone elses work. However I do chase them off from time to time.

So heres my question:

If im peppering the choppers with the .50 cal do you prefer your gunner keep firing or do you not like that because its rare it will result in a kill?

If you're already being attacked by the chopper then I'd say let loose with the 50. It could help be a deterrent and you might even have one of those lucky moments.

Don't shoot unless you have a target you can honestly think you can kill.

I hate 12 year old old mentality types spraying rounds cause they think the sound is cool. All while giving your position away.

As to the chopper issue...I concur that if they are attacking you then go for it. Or, if they swoop in low and your there....open up. I've killed many that way in tanks and lavs.
