I recently purchased a new headset/mic because there seemed to be a lot of static in the old one. I thought people were hearing me in the game for the past several weeks. But I found out this week no one could hear me.

I use the default button for chat, when I push it, the lines at the right of the name light up, like I am talking and the program is receiving, but no one hears me? What issues could this be? Im assuming its something on my end.

Either your audio settings are not set to use your new headset microphone or your headset microphone has been muted.

If it's the first option then it's either your windows or your Battlefield not detecting/using the headset microphone. To fix this go to the little speaker icon on the bottom right-hand side of your desktop and right click on it. Select recording devices and scroll down the list until you find your headset microphone. Select it and then click set default and apply. The next thing you'll have to do is check the setting in Battlefield. I believe the option is located in options > multiplayer > VOIP

If it's the second then you'll have to check your headset for a little mute switch or button. Make sure the headset is not set to mute.

Hope this helps!
