My Master Libra when I was a little Toby. I watched this show Hogan's heroes with my sister. We would laugh, but we were too young to understand anything about it. I saw 2 episodes last night on YouTube for the first time in 50 years, and no way that show would survive today. Been to a couple concentration camps in Europe (Weimar, Germany), and I was damaged AS FUCK. Spent 2 days reading Nuemberg trial transcripts of Herman Goreing and other captured Nazis. First concentration camps, same kinda stuff, not so drastic but tamer. Where camps Britain set up in South Africa during the Boer War. Dutch Afrikaners are tough bastards. Again, child's play compared to Roman tortures and nightmares they imposed on other people.

Don't feel bad. It's your DNA, your ancestors were raped and tortured as slaves by the Romans. We just passed on the cycle of horrific abuse to our own and others. Be such monsters and introduce slavery to the North American continent, and later as our fabric of life in the colonies. The Spanish inquisition invented tortures that make waterboarding look like a game at Chuckie Cheeses. Spaniards even had a few centuries to spare, conquered continents. Wiped out centuries old races. The Germans, two world wars, so far. The French never ending wars for centuries. You don't need to possess Roman DNA to be a monster. Hi ya Man dude I used to watch that show before school. Had a friend named Jack while in roll call line. We would talk and laugh about the show. Father Jacobs caught us once doing impressions of col clink and shutlz. I thought we are dead right.? Nope, he said, and I quote. "The Jews folks need to lean respect for our Lord." Later at 16 years, my first girl friend was a Jewish sweetheart. I always remembered what prest said and made me sad our Church could be so fucking mean. Hogan's heroes was takeoff on a great movie called Stalag 17 with Bill Holden great flick. The actor Bob Crane who played Hogan. He was murdered after the Oscars. Was strangled with a lampshade cord. Killer was recently found years ago. Seemed Hogan was gay, and some gay guy killed him.
