I have an issue that is annoying as hell... VOIP not working...

hey team.

so a couple of weeks ago, i got angry and beat the fuck out of my keyboard. Happens every now and then...

anyway, as a result, i have lost my ingame voip. i can hear all the game noises (tanks, gun shots, screams, lockons, etc....) but no VOIP sound. people in my squad can hear me but i can not hear them... I have reinstalled and rebooted many, many times... any ideas?

Test your headset in Windows to confirm your mic is working and not muted.



In the Windows sound properties, make sure your headset is the Default Communication Device and all other sources are DISABLED.



In Origin, make sure the Defaults are also your headset.



In game, make sure your defaults for VOIP didn't get changed and that the LEFT ALT key (which you probably rage smashed to fuck) is still selected.



If all of this doesn't solve the problem, try to repair the game and reinstall Origin.



Buy a rubber keyboard.

Hopefully Dawn can fix the mic issues so we can hear him crying again soon. :lol:
