Anyone else in Florida getting ready?

Seems like people are going all out on this one, Lines at every GasStation, Publix is just crazy, now we wait for 2-3 days to see where it goes.

My office building closed at 3 today locking all of us out.

I bought enough fuel to run the generator for about 3-4 days with Central AC on and about 12 days if i run a wall unit on only room. Both estimates include Fridge, deep freezer, normal lights and computers.

I bought tons of frozen bubba burgers, bread, cheese, bacon, eggs, and more hotdogs than even Shrimpy could fit in his ass. <3

Also have propane and coal for cooking.

Anyway, curb ball on the next week of everyone's life in Florida...

Wishing you and anyone else in the storms path all the best. Hoping it moves faster and is weaker than expected.

I know Welfed is down in the Keys.

Can we just nuke the hurricane

To everyone in Florida I want to say be safe. Watched the news last evening and they say it is gaining intensity as it gets closer, hopefully it will die out some before it hits land. Myself if I had a place down there I would board it up and get the hell out of there. But I do respect you folks that decided to ride it out...........STRYKER.

Good luck everybody affected. I was on HMCS Preserver years ago when we went to Florida after "ANDREW" and helped rebuild schools etc. I saw what it can do to a town, and then I saw the best of humanity, when they came together to help their neighbours. When our ship's company were clearing streets, people brought out water, sandwiches, and some just came out and hugged us. It is something I will never forget. Again, good luck.

All the models are now showing a shift. Even without a direct hit the coast is still going to get battered by wind and waves.

Im a weather nerd and with all my years of surfing its kind of a must.

If you are interested in a listening to the best forecaster check out this site:

This guy is legit and you have links to all the forecasting models.

He updates daily during hurricane activity. He's better than anything you will find on TV.
