Hurricane Michael 2018

My thoughts go out to those who were affected by the hurricane.

My family from the coast is safe, but they have lost so much - including the entire town where my father was raised, and we visit for vacation annually - Mexico Beach, Fl. My brother was on his honeymoon and was evacuated the day he and his new wife arrived. Again, my thoughts go to those who were affected, we WILL rebuild, and we WILL once again have the beautiful cities of Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe that I have so many wonderful memories in, which were not taken by the hurricane.

Glad the family is safe Drew. Our prayers go out to all affected by this terrible storm. Like Wiz said, buildings can be rebuilt but so much more is lost that can't be replaced when things like this happen. A life long collection of mementos are lost in a split second. Those are the things that can't be replaced.

Having gone through something similar with hurricane Sandy, I'm glad your family is safe and I hope for a speedy recovery.

My thoughts and prayers ! Experienced my own loss back in 2013 with a Tornado and lost everything. And that was only the begining of the battle. I witnessed both the absolute worst and best in people including my own friends and family. Long tough process to recover from. Stay strong .
