Hi folks- I have been lurking on and off your servers for many a moon now, still a great stop you have here (bf4). I was curious if things have changed? Is it ok to be bullying people out of vehicles? Or for admins to kick for playing the game? I was kicked for camping the AA just now and Im struggling to understand how staying as far forward as our base count and PTFO'ing the map results in being kicked for camping. I understand that I can fuck right off, I get it, but Ive been coming here a long time and have never seen the shit ive seen the last week or so.

Pretty sure you answered your own question. Do not camp the AA! It really is that easy. If you are not hustling A,B, or C then you are doing wrong on this server. If you want to play south of the tracks or way back East and West then you are playing it wrong on this server. Camping anything is for losers! Are you a loser? Do not be a loser!

Yeah the competition is too fierce on this server, it's full of asshole heli and jet jocks that will will rain supreme if you are parked outside the base or up on the hill ... lol..

The AA is an extremely demanding job on our server, as we draw many of the top pilots in the world. Thus, whoever's in the Mobile AA faces a great deal of scrutiny from the community, and the administration.

Generally the aa should support abc first. That means being north of the tracks. It should be 1/4 to 1/3 the map forward if the team doesn't have all of abc. If it does have abc, then it should be 1/3 to 1/2+ forward of the map. If the team has almost all the flags and the other air vehicles are focused on F, the the aa can move over and focus on them for a while; always ready to move back to abc.
As others have said, if the other teams air vehicles are good, your team gets crushed by having an aa that isnt focused on helping with abc. The aa is critical most of the time on Golmud. And I am an asshole toward bad aa drivers. If I were an admin, there would be a lot fewer aa drivers. It sux that we cant ban from individual vehicles, bc that would be the best option.
I havent seen you in the aa, so I am not sure what you might have been doing. I recommend observing a good aa in action. You can get a good idea where the aa should be working from and some tips for improvement. There are also some other golmud maps that would be good to play to improve aa skills.

I don't know if he was at F but I would guess it was Freemason Kroll or myself that kicked you. We are both hard on people for not having the AA in position. Fletch had you read the rules you could have saved yourself some time on asking what is going on. The rules plainly state that the AA should be located in a position to defend AB and C Flags. So if you are South of the tracks or hiding under the bridge at D position you are going to be warned and then either killed or kicked. I don't know if it could be incorporated in the script or not but all players should be required to read the server rules before playing our server. Our senior admin did a great job of keeping the rules to a minimum unlike the vq37 servers where you get banned for killing an admin. So now you know to read the couple of rules, come back enjoy the server as it is meant to be played and you will have no problems..............STRYKER.
I only run the AA in the out of play area! You can only last 9secs but they never see you sitting there

Welcome to our forums fletch! Just keep the AA by A B C and you will be fine. It really doesn't matter though. I've seen the AA get bitched at for going 50-0 but miss just one chopper and shit hits the fan!!!!!. LOL "DO YOUR JOB AA!!!!!"
