Hi anyone...
a couple weeks ago i lost the ability to hear my squad members, which i believe is super important.
I can see the speaker icon show up and all the rest of the in game sound is good.
The only thing that i think may have affected it was i tried the teamspeak server from the site with no avail.
I am not to tech savy so any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

If you using a USB headset, you may try using a different USB port. Windows will see a change and install drivers for it. When I lose sound (from static charge after walking on my vinyl floors) I have to restart my computer. You can check to see if your sound is working by looking at a YouTube video. That what I do alot!

Can your squad mates hear you?

This may sound stupid but uninstall team speak and reboot your comp and see if that helps.

We may have covered this issue before in other threads.

Have a read through this one
This one from battlelog forums.

Make sure your settings in Origin are also correct. Origin Application Settings-Voice.

Close Origin and any web browser (just to rule them out).

Plug your headset in and configure the Windows sounds making sure the headset is the default device.

Trouble shooting sound issues are a PITA!

Good luck!

Have BF4 closed

Go into Program Files(x86)
Origin Games
Battlefield 4
_Installer
directx
redist
then when in redist folder double click DXSETUP

it should run and fix your problem.
