Hi Everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself – I'm a 51 yo father of three from Maryland. I like long walks on the beach... oh wait, wrong site.

I've been playing the BF since BF2 in 2005 and have been hooked ever since. Enjoyed playing BF2 up to the bitter end – mainly because I loved Mashtuur and Karkand. If I was in your squad, I was probably a medic or engineer.

For me, I enjoy squad play when everyone is working together – and yes, I'll probably be in a tank trying to cap flags (hopefully with a gunner with a wrench). I'm too lazy to walk around this map. You'll rarely see me sitting in a tank up the the mountains tank sniping, unless I'm eating a bowl of cereal. You ever try to play and eat at the same time? Let's face it, Golmud is a vehicle oriented map. One of my pet peeves is those guys that run around and complain about being killed by helos and tanks.

When I'm not playing BF4 or working, I'm probably doing woodworking or marquetry, or walking my Bernese mountain dog.

Anyway, join my squad or invite me to yours and let's bring home Delta.

My tank is state of the art and has cold cold air conditioning. It is 6:30 A.M. here and I just seen the pic Red_Dawn posted and vomited a little in my mouth. Where the hell do you guys come up with this shit? My God I am glad I grew up in the era I did, and the term snowflake wasn't even even used except for the winter weather.The only draw back is I am one of the senior players on the pro tour (well the is my story and I am sticking to it). BTW welcome to the forums ( the intro was very well done ), and maybe we can squad up one day. Well I am on barnyard duty this morning so I have things to do. Welcome, youll find your share of old timers here, so do be careful of the tanks you share as unrepentant flatulance has been an ongoing issue. (Especially in my tank)

We cant afford any more workers comp claims for sudden onset of COPD as a result of enclosed space lung (and brain) dammage due to lack of proper ventilation.

Hey, welcome, MC. Always been fun (and point rich) running gunner for you because you get in on flag and mix it up.

And you're a great sport--no complaints at any time--so your pet peeve is well warranted. Death by tank/helo is the rule not the exception.

(btw, Karkand in BF2 is still my favorite map ever, probably, with Golmud a close 2nd ... I remember running medic with the L85 or something similar and watching bogeys stream down from the dusty hillside north of town--good times)
