I used it on my CPU and aside form the fact that my system died three months later (could just be a coincidence, it *is* a 7 year old MOBO and CPU that has been run through the wringer) it also corroded my Noctua NDH 15 Heatsink. Not by much but I did notice slight pitting from the corrosion. This was after I googled the crap out of using Grizzly Conductonaut liquid metal thermal paste on a Noctua Heat sink. The word from multiple sources was that it would be fine for my heatsink. Boy are they wrong.

Honestly, it's not worth it.

I've used them all and they are pretty much with one or two degrees of each other. IC diamond is one of the best I find but very hard to spread. One of my favorites is Arctic MX-2 or 4. they aren't really all that different but they spread easily and work quite well.

I have a 2600K @ 4.7 Ghz on a water block with Artic Silver and has NEVER missed a beat.........
