that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Brothers,
Let me first start by saying thank you for the consideration regardless of the final decision. I honestly do not know that I am familiar enough with and one member to submit a reference. I may not have the skill level you would like to see but I love this game and have grown fond of your team and its members in general. What most qualifies me is the desire to be a part of something that is bigger than myself. I am a US Navy Operation Enduring Freedom Veteran and I miss being apart of an effective Unit that works together and follows orders. I won't take up your time with Sea Stories in hopes to win you over with my Military Experience. Being able to get on and have a good time good, bad or ugly seems to help me find a feeling of therapeutic Kai Zen. I do have several functioning communication headsets but typically have less to say when following orders and playing good. Please feel free to ask questions about whatever you like. I have created a shot io on my Profile and uploaded a few of my favorite pics to share with everyone. I think you would have a good understanding about who I am once yo check it out. I appreciate what you have created and what you have offered to me with your resources and I will continue to play on these servers respectfully regardless of your decision. Thank you.

Welcome to the forums Fantasticle, and that is a good intro. If you have read many post here you know that the key to joining AARP is participation in the forums as well as in game. Posting and keeping abreast of what is going on helps you get those tags. We see people apply and stop into the forums a couple of times and then nothing, not working here. Another thing is game participation, squad up with clan members when you can and get to know us. Some people don't have much to say but wearing a head set allows your squad to communicate with you much faster with you. Quite a few of us use team speak just so my lazy ass doesn't have to push the button to chat. If you are interested our address is on the right hand side of the home page. Good luck to you.....STRYKER.

Welcome to the forums Mr. Fantasticle. Good intro. Just keep perspiration up here in the forums and squad up with us. Look forward to gaming with you. K

Hello Mr. Fantasticle, please find your way to our hardcore server for fun and entertainment. As others have said, try to post and squad up when you can.

Sincerely,
Chris Boudreaux aka friedshrimpy

I appreciate the honesty and advice. The value of earned rewards is greater than anything that can be just given away. I will play when I can and there will never be an excuse for poor performance or failure to meet expectations. On another topic, I am curious about as to why Golmud is so protected. I love the way the map allows for just about any style of player to get a little work in doing what they are best at. I will do what I can to make time to squad up with everyone. Tons of great artwork in here as well. I'm really digging the endless customizations and unique personalities.

Not sure if protected was the best way to describe it but when I inquired about making any modifications to the server map rotations you replied "We just changed the rotation on the HC server, the 24/7 Golmud server will always be Golmud. LOL" That gave me the impression that there might be an interesting reason behind the decision to never change 24/7 Golmud. My last message used the wrong choice of words my bad. I can't read a message from my wife without applying the naggivating bitch tone she has at times but that conversation usually leads to some quality PT on the PC and so know you know why I'm here right now. lol

So, if you want variety, bring it to our hardcore server sir!

Sincerely,
Chris Boudreaux aka friedshrimpy

ok HARDCORE here I come. Just when I thought Normal was getting easier.
Kai-Zen means continual Improvement and is a Japanese Phrase that was coined after we bombed them into submission. If I'm not mistaken it was an American that put the two words together Kai and Zen. The Idea that turned into a successful modern day practice for improvement. If I can improve any attribute about me by only 1/10 of 1% each day then my year over year improvement percentage should be an impressive 36.5 %! Pretty solid when you think of the tiny amount required each day. (0.10%) If I can't be better by playing Hardcore using this improvement practice then I will surrender the controls to my 6-year-old son He has the reflexes of a Kangaroo mouse.

Where can I get a graphic like yours that shows the same stats for me? 1200.48 m? You would have to be on the far edge of Golmud and the other guy on the far opposite edge.

You mean a Signature? There's a wide assortment of sites that offer static and updating stuff you can add to your forum profile.

Most are from http://bf4stats.com/

Searching your name and selecting the "Graphics" tab, offers a wide variety of options.

Though, personally, I prefer my minimalist approach.

Well, all I can say is that I made many many attempts to play with and chat with multiple AARP members and for about a solid month I was moderately active in the forums. The thing that I have a hard time with is the lack of acknowledgment in the forums and during the game. It's very difficult to maintain that kind of effort with little to no return communication. I still play the servers and die honorably by the hands of AARP members. I will continue to help keep a body on the servers but I don't feel welcome here and that's ok I'm not going to be upset about it. You guys still have the most kick-ass players on the best servers and I love that I can always count on having a good time playing. The few that did acknowledge my presence were super cool and interesting people. Thank you for the opportunity to "Try out". I'll visit the forums just not as often as I was.
