GFX Card Problems

I'm having a terrible time with my graphics card crashing. I have an MSI GTX660 Ti Power Edition and it crashes all the time. I get the whole Windows Kernal Display Driver failure error.

I originally thought it was heat and now I have my fans on 100% all the time.

Any suggestions??

If it's a crash with a Windows system error, it's likely install/software related rather than hardware issues.

I'd do two things:

Use DDU to uninstall your drivers. Then reinstall them from the Nvidia website or through GeForce Experience.

Then uninstall and reinstall Battlefield. You might be able to just "repair" the game by right clicking on it and choosing "Repair Game" in Origin.

Also, if you have any overclocks on your GPU, try resetting back to stock and see if that has any effect on crashing. Also make sure you aren't running in Mantle (battlefield settings).

also, what OS are you running? MSI is horrible at providing updated drivers for Windows 10... I had an MSI and will never go back, they are dead to me... I spent over $3000 on an MSI laptop in January 2015 and they are not supporting that model with windows 10 drivers? screw them.

Interesting... and I'm running Win 10. I'll give Pepe's suggestions a wirl...

I can typically get into the game and play for about 15 min before it crashes.

i was having the same issues before with my old video card... it was overheating even though the fans were still working, i got it liquid cooled and it fixed the issue. you can get it liquid cooled for like 30-40 bucks if you know how to do it, im not sure how to do it my friend helped me with mine, but i bet you can find it on youtube.
