From what I've heard, 2080 performs pretty well, compared to last-gen 1080Ti. The pricing is going through the roof though, even the 2070 is priced too high compared to last gen.

The real problem is, there's no games to test Ray Tracing on yet.

True about the Ray Tracing.

Rumor has it that the 2070's performance is somewhere between the 1080 and 1080ti.
