EA having extensive worldwide server problems

Could be a DoS attack against their servers. Perhaps someone with a lot of money thinks nuking the Master Servers will get EA to change their monteization policies.
 
Its surprising how BF4 PC play has remained steady after the post BF1 introduction dropoff ion 2016 and didn't lose much gas with Battlefront 2. In fact it went up the month after Battlefront 2 was released

Its a testament to the following BF4 has.
