Hey folks just got a Dell s2716DG/S2716DGR Gsync 1ms response & 144Hz. Im now using my 28inch 60hz 4k as my mini map! I think my game has improved a bit not sure but it is butter smoth now, not as pretty as my 4k but I could never go bak to 60hz, Anyone else have a monitor with these specks that could share their experience with me?

I have the Alienware (dell) 34" 144Hz (OC 160hz) Gsync monitor and I love it.

I had a Acer 27" Gsync 144hz before that.

Once you go Gsync @ 144Hz or better....you can never go back to t he stuttering and screen tearing of a 60Hz screen that's unable to keep up with the video signal being pushed by today's nvidia cards.

Good setup....I need to try setting up a small monitor as a minimap....how do you spilt the mini map to the other screen?

Yeah I went into the Nvivia control Panel to enable it as well as the G-sync!

Have you checked your in-game fps by enabling the FPS screenscreen indicator in GeForce Experience Overlay?

I had to edit my user.cfg file to unlock it from the default 60hz.

Check your user.cfg file.....look for this command: GameTime.MaxVariableFps 60

Change the 60 to 143.94 (go a ch below max)

If you already have done this then...... Nevermind!

You just Log-in to your BATTLEFIELD account and select Battle screen simple as Pie!

User.cfg file is like a manager of the gam, and that command set the max fps output for the monitor, even if you got a faster 144mhz 1ms monitor , is day/night comparison.... you have to use it

Ha, I am running at 30Hz. I think I am hurting my eyes playing at that level since I can't seem to focus outside the monitor any longer since my brain is G-syncing for me. I really need a new monitor.

I am confused need to look into the world wide web thanks libra.

Example -

Copy and Paste it in your notepad, and save as User.CFG, not user.cfg.txt, save it in BF4 folder. PerfOverlay.DrawFPS 1 displays the FPS in the corner of your screen. if you don't want it delete the 1 and put 0
I use the one in Geforce Experience.

GameTime.MaxVariableFPS 143

PerfOverlay.DrawFPS 1

WorldRender.LightTileCSPathEnable 0

WorldRender.TransparencyShadowmapsEnable 0

WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0

WorldRender.MotionBlurQuality 0

WorldRender.MotionBlurMaxSampleCount 0

WorldRender.PlanarReflectionEnable 0

WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapEnable 0

PostProcess.DynamicAOEnable 0

You can get away with JUST using the GameTime.MaxVariableFPS 143 command. In fact, thats the only entry in my user.cfg
