Young Godess. The dog dewormer worked like a dream after a greatest date. I used 0.025 of a the gram package. Moved my rabbit snails to a new tank lol. I nuked my shrimps, they loved it and were fighting to eat some. Some snails hid, and I figured they became ammonia bombs. NOPE they survived and adapted. Those snails are pond snails and one tiny rabbit snail that stayed behind.

The death protocol:
One dose leave for a week. Then vacuum out dead planeria and water change. Poison again, leave for a week. Then 3rd week carbon the tank out. I dosed on Monday from 100% infestation the next day, 98% gone. So next Monday I poison again. Just saw a couple minutes ago took them out with turkey baster. They are like zombie planeria I figure. They survived and must be destroyed.

Gem, you being a scientist and all. Why does Amazon sell planeria?

Hey Toby! Thats great news, glad its been working out. Although if you are still seeing planaria it could be eggs that are now hatching (eggs wont be killed which is why treatment may go on for a few weeks until all eggs have hatched and been killed)
Those damn bladder snails are incredibly resilient not surprised at all they survived lol.

Honestly not really sure why anyone would buy pesky planaria on purpose. I suppose some types of fish enjoy eating them I would imagine?
Anyway Im doing some maintenance on my tanks and some updates should be coming soon (with pics!)

On a side note I have green hydra in what used to be my shrimp tank and I got some febendazole (from amazon lol)to nuke those. Although Im wondering if I should just leave it since there are no more shrimp in there and the hydra are kinda cool. Like small freshwater anemone lol

Hi ya Gem, thank you for your reply. Yes i think they look mad cool too. Have seen videos of them catching tiny fish and shrimps. Saw them shrivel up and die in a video when dewormer was used. Tiny things are very cool. Gem, what are your thoughts about Mermaids? Saw a video of a batascope and a mermaid ran her or his hands across the port hole of the sub. lol wonder if it's real. Looks like USA mermaids stem from when Spanish and pirates used to ply trade at Florida. They saw manatees with their grass on their heads and took them for mermaids. Gem, there's a movie called Reign of Fire. A great film. Gem in so many cultures worldwide they have dragons in their folklore. How is it possible that people who never met have a dragon in their histories? Gem, are there not certain principles in science that apply worldwide? Example: a scientist like you has a colleague like you say in France. Did they not learn the same texts that you learned? So if that is true. Then why wouldn't ghosts and other mythical creatures exist too? Just cause you no longer see that animal means it did not exist? Example of the dodo bird wiped out by Spanish explores that brought cats and pigs to the new world. They ate the dodos birds eggs as it nested on the ground.

Example: The Aztecs were discovered around the early 1500's but it was discovered that the aztecs had ceremonial statues at intersections to ward off evil blood sucking spirits. In transyania somewhere Europe lol. They believed in running to a intersection at 3am for safety against the vampire. Cause the intersections form a Cross of Jesus. Now how do the Aztecs and people in Europe know this since they never met before? both have blood sucking spirits? Something else Gem. What did man do in the beginning of time that God would drown us all like rats? What did we fucking do? I mean look at man's past in 30,000 years and all the evil we have done? Yet that was not enough to flood us again?

Gem, sorry to bother you with dumb things. I see you like a wonderful advanced being and I am at best some confused ant size brain caveman grunting questions at you as you explore our planet. Have met and befriended women of all types and fields. You are my first scientist and I am mesmerised about you and the size of your beautiful brain...Kind creepy but meant in a wonderful way. Very interesting thoughts Toby. Ive never been much of the creative type myself sadly, which is why I love reading. To see the fantastic worlds of fictions others create.
Im no expert on lore or myth, but I imagine that when storytellers and traders travelled they exchanged stories and lores and that could be how different cultures have similar beasts. Or maybe dragons are based on a real animal that lives on several continents/countries.
I bet going to a philosophy or mythology or any type of thinking class with you would be fun lol!
Im definitely far from the greatest scientist out there....but thanks for boosting my ego lol

Dear Gem all day I've been thinking what you said. "To see the fantastic worlds of fictions others create." so dang profound Ms. I am getting info for a post regarding what you said. Also looking through my ghost stories for some fun ones. Once had to serve papers on General Bill Lyon 30 years ago, what adventure hahah His teenage son. What a humble Prince of a man. Not stuck up just a reg teen, so nice. I didn't sever the General that morning, simply didn't want his son to be in trouble for leading me to him. So like a sly fox, I pounced after he landed his chopper in John Wayne airport. hahah memories

Gem, one of the scariest places on earth to me, is Pompeii. OMFG!!! I have been there twice, first when I was married, and later as a single man with Anna, my sweet school teacher. 20k died there, a horrible death. I think hearing the dead is much more real and terrifying than actually seeing them. Gem, when I was 16,
I met a Polish man who lived at lakeside apartments in Burbank, Ca. Ben, my best friend, and I called him Sashi. He had published books. One was a great coffee table one. It had pics his statues left in Polish museums. Also he stated in this book. That the American Indians marking on his face was based. On how he swam after the great flood. If the person swam with a breaststroke or dogie style. He had lines across his fave. If the person swam on his side, hence side lines or paint on his face. Meanin when he landed on shore, that's how he became known by the sentiment markings on his face.

I was like okay, sounds viable lol? But what the fuck got me so damn hardcore was the next chapter of drawings and his notes.
I had to go to Pompeii from that moment on. I won't go for decades lol. I will pay a horrible price for this yearning.

Dear Gem, I am about to blow your scientific mind Ms. So i turn the pages of the coffee table book. Keep in mind I was a teen. When Pops saw the book, he threw it away. I bought another from Sashi. Gem dear Lass, let me segaway this mini story is for young men first

I was 17 and had learned to drive. Never joined a gang, but that didn't mean I did not have murder in my heart. So I carried some sort of dagger from Turkey I had bought at swap meet. Had it under my driver side. I was ready to carve anybody's heart that looked sideways at me. Yea another tough loser, right? So one night it went missing. I looked all over for that damn knife, to me it was like Thor's hammer. My base of power hahah stupid kid.

When dad years later got hit by a car, he had a stroke. Next day, I went to the tow yard to look for his stuff and see his beloved truck. There was the pick up drivers side caved in by impact. M&M peanuts all over the floor of the car. There hanging out of a hole passengers chair was the butt of my knife sticking out. The impact and forced it out. pulled it out. I sat there and cried. Pops had taken the knife away from my car. Pops Figured I get killed with it. I write this lil story because men are proud creatures, especially sons. We forget that these old men now once loved us and still do beyond words. They cleaned our butts when we wore diapers, and threw us into the air and caught us. We thought they were gods.

Don't worry Pops, if you didn't make it to heaven. I already made a deal. I swear I'll get you out.

She was sea sick as a dog lolol sorry, but she was so cute next to the toilet heaving lol. They gave a sedative, and she was out. Money always gets people into trouble. I was no exception. I has sachis 20 yeard old book with me as I took a small barge to the island. There a paid more euros to see what I had to see. To witness firsthand true depravity of Man. If you want to have a real run of fun in Europe. Go down son, dive, dive. Centuries of life are built on top of the old ones. I descended into the bowls of evil each step I took down. The rest of the way down was by an old chain lift, felt it would break at every foot it was lowered. As I went down, I saw stairs on the side of the walls that went down too, but they were all broken. As to prevent you from climbing up. He pointed at tiny cracks that ran through pit walls. I could see molten lava dripping coursing inside it. When I finally got to the bottom. Was surprised how cool it was down there. I moved my torch and saw many books scattered all over the floor. I bent down and gasped maybe 5-8 books like mine. I had the satellite phone with me from Rome. I called my betters. Father Salvatore answered his voice was like a calming wind in the ocean. I told him where I was and how I had gotten there. He softly chuckled and said, "You Americans love tickling Satan's balls, huh." He instructed me to quietly get on fours. He said they won't smell you this way because of the lava underneath the stone floors.
