Function 1 was lost today in a short altercation with a shoe. The shoe has been removed and placed in a confined space. There were no other injuries. Function 1 will not be replaced by Function 2 as Function 2 has been advised to remain in their current location. A new Function 1 has been requisitioned and will soon resume operation.

I think it might have covid or a bad case of dandruff.

Fixed!

Came apart and went back together really easy. There were probably 30 screws to remove but Logitech did a good job overall with the G413 carbon keyboard. It was nice, all the same size screws were used on the front side of the keyboard. The case came apart easily, without any force and fit back together nicely.

Amazon had the key switches in stock with Prime shipping, so I got them yesterday. Found out I bought a slightly different switch. Travel is less with this switch and the "tick" is a little more audible but not full on SHWACK SHWACK SHWACK. More of a tic tic tic.

Overall, I like the Logitech G413 and its Romer-G switches. I haven't ever had another mechanical keyboard, so I can't say I'd recommend it over anything else. What I can say, is the repair was fairly easy and only required basic-intermediate soldering knowledge.

Nice work.

I thought it was just popping a key cap back on. Didnt realize you broke the switch too.
