Here's a scrolling refresh rate test.
Difficult to see clearly in my video because of the capture software and youtube rendering but the top row of ufos are clear at 144hz. On your screen, you'll be able to get an idea of how the fps and refresh rates affect what you see during gaming.

Watching Animallll video all the lines look blurry, but when I ran my test the 144hz line looked smooth. And yes, I tried out 85hz to see what would happen and it was a little jumpy.
