Dear AARP community and Admins,
I've recently been trying to get on my favourite server: AARP 24/7 Golmund, when I'm all of a sudden kicked by PunkBuster. I went through rigorous hours to try to repair BF4 and Punkbuster, thinking it was on my end. Turns out, I was banned because someone thought my aim was good, and that I could tell where people were. Thanks, it's flattering that you think my aim is good, but it was from years and years of playing First Person Shooters... NOT hacking. As for knowing where to look sometimes, I must mostly thank the team (or commander) I was then playing with for their spotting skills, along with my tendency to look at my map for %70 of the time while I play, and for the lack of silencers on enemy firearms.
Apparently (someone who shall not be named) uploaded a video of this hackusation but it was not made public. Therefore, it might have only been a single admin (someone who shall no be named) who issued the ban. There was no opportunity for peer review, or for me to defend myself.
I don't know how one proves that they don't hack. I've seen a video in the past of a hackusation against me for teleporting or something, but it was ridiculous. The person recording was obviously having latency and packet loss problems with their modem/router (as seen on the right of the screen). Unfortunately there is no scoreboard brought up to see their ping. But the result was of a character model spinning towards his BTR then back behind a tank, which seems like a buggy mess due to modem or latency issues. What really happened was that I exited a tank to repair it mid-combat, it's that simple. It's these types of poor videos that are upsetting and can cause false accusations. See below:

I believe in honest competition and gameplay. I have never hacked in my life or used cheats... not even the Konami Code for the NES. I welcome a challenge to better my skills as an avid gamer. I rarely impose hackusations on others because I know how it feels to be wrongfully accused, and a ban can prevent you from playing with others who you may have developed friendships with, like a lot of the people in the AARP servers I've grown to know. Please, everyone, be conscious and considerate when accusing someone of hacking and don't do it out of frustration, envy, or poor sportsmanship.
Thank you for any consideration and any support. And of course, thanks for the great community and gaming experience.
