Computer Malfunctions

Unfortunately while I was performing some driver updates the drivers for my HDD and SSD have crashed. Now my computer cannot access files on either drive and therefore can't run.
I will try to get the problem fixed any way I can. Hopefully I'll be able to figure something out so I can play this weekend.

If any of you know what I can do to fix this problem please let me know. Thanks.

You could look into system restore or try doing an OS repair with the Windows' installation disc (depending on which OS you have I guess). I'm not familiar with Windows 10, but with previous versions if you boot off of the windows installation cd, it usually gives an option to do a repair without formatting the drive.

Do you have a spare HDD or SSD (or can get one)? If possible, try doing a fresh install on the new drive, and try pulling info from those 2 drives. Failing any of the previous ideas, I usually fall back to a fresh install on a formatted drive.

Not a PC tech by any means, but that's where I'd start.

Thanks guys. I'll try everything I can think of before I try installing onto a formatted drive. Would be a shame if I lost all my data. Not to mention battlefield is a bitch of a download with my Internet speed.

Sad.. Have you tried Spyhunter? I know that it is commercially but one of the few programs that actually works .. If it still possible to run programs? Otherwise, run it from a USB stick ..

Good news I have managed to use my old computer to install Windows onto an empty hard drive.
After booting through that drive my computer seems to be back to normal.

For future Ref Ubuntu (Linux that can be ran from cd drive) will boot an operating system that allows you to access files on crashed drive to safely save them or repair whatever issue was in Windows.
