I tried real hard to get 60s when I was at MEPS and saw it on the list. Only reason was really to get a technical school close to home (Virginia Beach)... cause ya know, big dumb 18 year old. Good on you for commissioning though, I've been bouncing around Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Contracts for a few years now and finally got something stable at Boeing with supply chain.

Sir, I can ask the front desk to get right on that with the best of them. Got a couple medals for my "Showed Up to Work" achievement... not even joking, the Air Force has a Good Conduct award where the only stipulation is not getting a DUI or beating your partner.

So I contracted with the Navy for about two years as an AME (Life support stuff) working E-2s. Been on the Teddy Roosevelt a few times. When ever someone other than Navy says anything about "squids having it easy"..... I have them watch flight deck operations and tell them "imagine doing that for 14 hours."

Seabees are pretty much top tier Civil Engineering, right? Or is Seabee a term for all of the Navy's CE?
